I am not sure what exactly possessed me, we aren’t 100% ready. We still need a piece of furniture (like a sideboard) for storing cooking essentials in, we need to collect said essentials, get some odds and ends, and put together a picnic table that Nathaniel has to mill lumber for. Sometimes you just have to take the plunge and do it! I’d say we both work well under pressure and on a timeline. Me because I am an avid procrastinator. Nathaniel because he prioritizes and gives singular focus to each task as it comes up, a deadline gets us further up on his long list of must-dos. Just because we posted, didn’t mean anyone would actually pay to stay here. By the end of the day, we had TWO bookings for the end of June! Now we have four bookings, our first guest arriving THIS Saturday. Pressure is now on and we love it! We looked at each other in absolute surprise and disbelief but were thrilled beyond measure! Something we created is valued and soon to be enjoyed by others.
